Jessica Alba has insisted that her acting career helps her to be ‘the best mum’. The 29-year-old said that being able to work intensively then take long periods of time off, means that she gets to spend more time with two-year-old daughter Honor. She told Now, “I love acting because it allows me to be, I think, the best mum. I work for two or three weeks and then I can spend the rest of the time with my daughter. I get to be completely hands-on with her. “Most of my friends who work are away all day and never see or spend time with their kids. I bring my daughter to the set. She has no idea that it’s a movie set. She just thinks of my trailer as mummy’s office.” Now expecting her second child with husband Cash Warren, she added that her role as a family woman is the most important part of her life. “This job doesn’t define me. Being a mother defines me, being a daughter, a wife, a good friend, and being loyal,” she explained
