James Franco NYU Professor

Is there anything James Franco can’t do? (Besides, of course, pull off hosting the Oscars…)

Less than a year after earning a postgraduate degree from New York University, the studious screen star is returning to the prestigious Manhattan institution — this time as a professor.

Talk about a coed’s ultimate incentive to get up three hours early and lather on the perfume and makeup before class!

Where do we sign up?!

Franco will teach a third-year film course focused on adapting poetry into short films, spy-types squealed to The New York Post Tuesday. The gig is the perfect one for Franco, who has directed two short films himself in addition to appearing in large, blockbuster movies, such as Spider-Man, Pineapple Express, and 127 Hours, which earned him James a Best Actor Oscar nomination.

James will juggle his latest duties with attending doctoral classes at Yale, displaying his artwork at a TriBeCa gallery, and taking a Master’s writing class at Columbia University.

We’re out of breath just talking about Franco’s schedule!
