Vanessa Minnillo has said that the best thing about being engaged is knowing that fiancé Nick Lachey has ‘got her back’. The singer opened up about their relationship while giving in speech at a youth-mentoring event in America, and told the audience that it feels good to know that together, they can achieve anything. According to People, the 30-year-old said, “The best part [of being engaged] is that you know someone has your back, no matter what. “It’s not that I didn’t know that before — I kind of teetered on it — but now I know for sure that no matter what, this guy’s got my back.” She added, “There’s nothing we can’t work out, and there’s nothing we can’t talk through. There’s no obstacle we can’t overcome, and that’s a beautiful, comforting thought.”
