Lindsay Lohan Cast As Detective In First Post-Rehab Role “Escaping The Game”

Lindsay Lohan has been cast in her first film role since spending several months behind bars and confined to rehab. In the best example of art imitating life to hit Hollywood since Lady Gaga arrived at the 2011 Grammy Awards dressed as a rotten egg, the trouble-prone ex-child star has landed the lead role in an upcoming comedy-drama about celebrities who struggle with the pitfalls of fame.

She’ll play a gumshoe (That’s vintage speech for detective…) investigating the mysterious deaths of several celebrities in Escaping the Game, according to the film’s director, Nathan Folks.

“She wants to do it,” says Folks, who has cast the actress to co-star alongside Chris Zylka. “We can get her insured if she is with someone who is keeping an eye on her 24/7. Lindsay and I’ve discussed it and she’s already agreed to the condition.”
