Akshay will host Colors TV's Khatron Ka Khiladi Season 4. A promo featuring the star will air tonight.
The first two seasons of the show, based on Fear Factor, were hosted by Akshay, and Season 3 by Priyanka Chopra.
Colors TV went back to Akshay for Season 4, but reportedly baulked at his higher paycheck demand. According to Mid Day, the channel then approached Ajay Devgan and Salman Khan, in that order, to host the show.
Eventually, Akshay agreed to drop his price and was signed on.
MAD Production, which created the promos for Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 4, has reportedly created the first look for Khatron Ka Khiladi Season 4. The promo has been directed by Marco Kalantri; Niharika Khan has styled Akshay for the teaser.
