Prince William Kate Middleton Advised To Sign On Dotted Line

Prince William Kate Middleton Advised To Sign On Dotted Line

Hugh Hefner isn’t the only future newlywed walking down the aisle without the protection of an iron-clad prenuptial agreement! Britain’s Prince William and his checking account will also be living on a prayer after he ties the knot with longtime sweetheart Kate Middleton in a ceremony at Westminster Abbey later this month.

British lawyers are urging the young couple to work out the tawdry details of sorting out their finances in the unfortune event of a tabloid sex scandal, illegitimate love child, or the very real possibility that The Royals discover that they’re simply not cut out for marriage to one another.

Hey, it happens to the best of us. But few of we “commoners” have the kind of money to lose that William will if his marriage to Kate, the daughter of self-made millionaires, goes belly-up. Queen Elizabeth II, the Prince’s grandmother, is reportedly worth $467 million. Add that inheritance to the millions he received when his mother Princess Diana perished in that 1997 car crash, and you get a hefty divorce settlement for Katie.
