T Series has released a teaser poster for Salman Khan and Asin headlining romantic comedy Ready which features a outrageously youthful Salman holding a live firecracker.
The 45-year-old star is seen in a white dress shirt and aviators with an immaculate mane, sans hair on his chest ,or even arms!
The caption on the poster reads Get Ready for a Dhamakedaar Entertainer June 3.
Ready, produced by T-Series and Rawail Grandsons Entertainment and Software Pvt Ltd, and helmed by Anees Bazmi, is based on a 2008 Telugu film of the same name headlining south actor Ram and Genelia D'Souza that turned out to be one of the highest grosser of the year.
Music is scored by Pritam.
The film is due in theaters on June 3.
The film additionally stars Arya Babbar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Paresh Rawal and Puneet Issar and features cameos by Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan, Arbaaz Khan and Zarine Khan.
Major parts of the film were shot in Sri Lanka and Bangkok.
Synopsis:
Ready revolves around Prem (Salman Khan) and Sanjanna (Asin) who fall in love amidst a twisted plot of greedy uncles who want to gulp down Sanjanna's family inheritance and Prem's crazy family who always form a part of their only son's plans. Comedy is essentially a part of the various schemes and conspiracies. Both parties plan to teach each other a lesson. But what happens when Sanjanna's family find out they've been tricked? Revenge takes over their minds which lead to yet another series of plotting and adventures for both families.
