Sonakshi Sinha and Akshay Kumar Go Desi Glam in Joker

Joker director Shirish Kunder on Wednesday, April 6, posted a sneak peek still from his upcoming 3D Sci-Fi drama Joker, headling Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha.

The still features ten leading characters from the film - Kunder refers to them as his 10 jokers - dressed in fancy rural attire.

All males, except for one, are seen wearing white dhotis, fancy sneakers - Akshay Kumar's are bright red - aviators and fancy head gears.

Sonakshi is seen wearing a dressy lehenga choli, over the shoulder plait, and heart shaped sunglasses.

Kunder has been generous in providing updates on his film over Twitter, but has been careful not to reveal its plot, giving just enough information to evoke interest and fan anticipation.

Kunder says Akshay will have two looks in the film. "One is the local look in which he will be sporting a typical Indian dhoti etc..., the other a western look in causal cool attires."

Talking briefly about Joker, Akshay had earlier said "The story moves from a village to NASA and well after that there's some suspense involved."

The film, which has sci-fi elements, has whacko characters says Shirish Kunder.

"Sanjay Mishra plays a whacko who is in a time warp, and still believes he is a King. Vindu Dara Singh plays a whacked out Big Moose kinda character called "Sundi."

Shreyas Talpade plays Akshay Kumar's brother and Minissha Lamba plays a TV reporter.
