Reality Series: X-Factor, Popstars the Rivals
Cheryl Cole, formerly Cheryl Tweedy, became a household name when she was pronounced the winner of Britain’s Popstars the Rivals and lead-singer of Girls Aloud. The group, who have had major success on British airwaves, including 20 consecutive #1 hits, have yet to really break on the US music scene but never fear, Cheryl is going to become a household name in 2011 when she takes a seat at the judges table, next to Simon Cowell for the US version of X-Factor.
