Cheryl’s face used for mail order brides

Cheryl Cole is “livid” after a Russian mail order bride website used her image in its promotions, claiming that she was one of the women looking for a husband on their portal.Pictures of the 27-year-old star have been posted on the website RussianBrides.org and she is planning to sue the owners, reported Daily Star online. One picture shows the millionaire singer in a white cardigan over the title of the website, while in another, a headshot of her is shown next to the post, “assess precisely what it is you are looking for in your Russian bride-to-be”.Earlier it had emerged that pictures of ‘Girls Aloud’ were illicitly used to promote a Russian escort agency. The Babylon Moscow Escort Agency claimed that Sarah Harding, Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts, Nadine Coyle and Kimberley Walsh were among its “friendly and sophisticated girls waiting for your call”.However, while the band reportedly saw the funny side, this time Cole is keen to take punitive action. “Cheryl is extremely careful about any products she endorses and this Russian bride agency is most certainly not one of them. It is clearly a deception and the plug needs to be pulled on it,” said a source close to the actress. In another abuse of the ‘X Factor’ judge’s image, doctored photographs of her in X-rated poses have been posted for sale on an auction website. The snaps which show her naked and wearing skimpy lingerie were produced by scanning her head on to pornographic pictures. The have subsequently been removed by eBay, which has apologised.
