Emma Watson treated us to a heartening dose of elegance in a one-shouldered Valentino gown at the 2011 BAFTA Awards at the Royal Opera House in London on February 13. Emmas's gown was encased in layers of tulle fabric and touched off with soft makeup colors.
The BAFTA Awards celebrate the highest achievements in film, television, and multimedia and are considered a precursor for the Academy Awards. This year's BAFTA's did not disappoint, with Colin Firth and Natalie Portman taking home statues for Best Actor and Actress respectively.
Emma, 20 must have been happy considering the Harry Potter films, which turned her from schoolgirl to Hollywood celebrity, won for Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema. When she's not fronting for British designer Burberry, the fashion-mad student collaborates with fair-trade company People Tree and turns heads at Brown University, where she is finishing her freshman year. With a cv like that, is it any wonder why people love her
