Carrie Underwood sizzled in a short sequined dress on the American Idol red carpet for their 2011 season finale in the City of Angels on May 25th, 2011, in the Nokia Theater

The singer wore her blond tresses in an updo, showing off a peaches-and-cream complexion and statement earrings which matched her outfit.

Makeup was kept to soft pinks and browns, going with the easy flow of the dress. The Idol alum chose a sequined Lorena Sarbu which flaunted seriously good taste and a tanned pair of stems.

We think she's secretly trying to compete with Kate Middleton, but we're not complaining. :)

And how to accessorize the uber-short number? With a brown clutch bag, glittery platform heels, and her signature smile.

The Body hugging knee length dress had asymmetric cutout detail at waist, ruching at side of bodice and arm hole, a wrap-effect skirt accented with gold band and an uneven hemline.

Halle let her dress and her tanned and toned figure draw focus with minimal accessories and makeup.

She paired her dress with gold tiered hoop earrings, a black chunky ring on her left hand middle finger, black slim strap heels, and a black clutch.

Her hair was styled in loose curls while her skin looked radiant under light makeup. She wore cat eyeliner, eyelash extensions with layers of mascara and nude matte lipgloss.

Halle was honored with Fragrance Celebrity of the Year Award.

She launched her first Coty-backed scent in 2009 and now has three in her portfolio - Halle by Halle Berry, Halle Pure Orchid, and the newest, Reveal.

Other honorees of the evening included Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie, who was presented with the New Fragrance Celebrity of the Year Award for her fragrance Outspoken, currently Avon's best-selling perfume to date. She is soon to come out with her second perfume, Outspoken Intense.

Mary J Blige was honored for her fragrance My Life. Designer Jean Paul Gaultier was honored with 2011 Fifi Hall of Fame Award.

Angelina Jolie Ravishes in Red at Tree Of Life LA Premiere

Angelina Jolie looked stunning in a red Jenny Packham one shoulder gown at the LA premiere of Pitt's The Tree Of Life at Bing Theatre at Los Angeles County Museum of Art Tuesday, May 24.

Jolie was accompanied to the event by partner Brad Pitt who has gone back to his clean shaven, a transition that triggered a flash bulb frenzy.

Jolie, 35, surprised fans by stepping away from her signature black color in favor of bright red, a color we don't recall her wearing in the recent past.

The loose silhouette silk chiffon draped gown had ruffle detail on bodice and was cinched at the waist with a velvet waistband.

She accessorized with nude Stuart Weitzman peeptoe heels and Tiffany & Co. jewels: stud earrings and a gold ring on her right hand middle finger.

Her wavy brunette hair, styled in loose waves and side parting, draped her left shoulder. The glow of her skin was accentuated by the bright red color of her gown. She wore red lip gloss and light eye makeup.

Pitt's decision to get rid of his goatee will likely be welcomed by most of his fans. The 47-year-old looked smashing and youthful in a Tom Ford black suit, white unbuttoned dress shirt sans tie, and aviators. His nape sweeping hair was colored a shade darker than we saw on Sunday and was styled slicked down with a middle parting.

Jolie skipped the New York premiere of her film Kung Fu Panda 2 to be with Pitt at the LA event.

Earlier, the couple had walked the red carpet at the LA premiere of Jolie's film on Sunday, May 22; their brood of six children had accompanied them to the event.

Pitt's co-star Sean Penn was a no show on Tuesday, but co-star Jessica Chastain attended the screening.

Others attending the event included British director Guy Richie with his pregnant girlfriend Jacqui Ainsley, Garrett Hedlund and Carla Ortiz.

Selena Gomez Devastatingly Gorgeous at 2011 Billboard Music Awards

Sunday, May 23rd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas the stars gleamed their brightest, showcasing plenty of red carpet style and a lot of skin. One of those stars just happened to be Selena Gomez, who was there with current beau Justin Bieber.

La Selena kicked off the season with a low-necked number by Dolce & Gabbana in black. The dress sported V-shaped cutouts in the side and a slit-to-there hemline, with not an inch of cellulite in sight.

She paired it with red peeptoe bow heels by Guiseppe Zanotti, jewelry from Nail Lane, and a black clutch bag courtesy Judith Leiber.

She followed the trend of less-is-more, opting for a simple pair of statement earrings and long hair worn down in waves.

The 21-year-old songstress won the first award of the evening, 200 Album Artist of the Year for album Speak Now, followed up by another one for Country Artist of the Year.

Gwen Stefani made it a luminous affair when she attended the 'This Must Be The Place' soiree by Lancia on May 20, 2011, at Plage La Mandalain, Cannes, France.

Stefani went for a white Armani gown with bow detailing and cutout design, accentuated by a diagonal black strap which grazed her neck and went down the middle in a vertical line. Teamed with a pair of peeptoe red-and-black heels and red clutch bag, the outfit went for high drama. Between the cutout design and her open shoes, Stefani showed plenty of skin without looking OTT. Clever choice.

Elisabetta Canalis looked drool worthy in a single shoulder LBD at the launch of designer Roberto Cavalli's newest boutique in Cannes on May 18.

The leggy Italian's bodycon dress by the couturier hit her in all the right places, while her hair was left loose, creating an elegant yet casual look for daytime.

Her makeup echoed the trend du jour of the red carpet, smoky eye colors and pale colored cheekbones. The face was finished off with a neutral lip color which complemented her tresses beautifully.

Canalis kept her accessories to a minimum, with a black clutch bag and little jewelry. A pair of sexy black open-toed sandals finished off her look while making already long stems appear longer.

Bar Refaeli strutted her stuff in a flowing royal blue Roberto Cavalli gown at the premiere of The Beaver during the 2011 Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday, May 17.

The 25-year-old Sports Illustrated supermodel rocked the long sleeve body hugging train gown with mermaid silhouette skirt. The gown had a modest round jeweled neckline but the embellished cut out details in the front and back added to the super sexy look.

She accessorized with a glittering silver box clutch and exquisite Chopard jewels - diamond chandelier earrings and two rings both featuring emerald-cut diamonds.

Her hair was styled in a sleek pulled back top and a high ponytail. A structured bend on the ponytail turned the ordinary style into something extra ordinary.

Light makeup kept the focus on her tormenting lingerie model figure and radiant youthful skin.

The previous evening, at the Chopard's 'Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend' bash, Bar rocked another Roberto Cavalli creation - a navy blue, sequined, tube mini-dress.

Lindsey Wixon Triple Trip

Fashion shows; no matter how glamorous they are, there still is a touch of boredom in them due to the utter seriousness of models and their expressionless faces and sometimes a little falling of models here and there causes a lot more charm and kink in the ambiance.

The exact thing happened at Naomi Campbell’s Fashion for Relief show in Cannes, when a 17-year-old model Lindsey Wixon struggled in her killer heels and tripped over three times in a less than a graceful effort to exit the catwalk. She managed to gather herself confidently after her first trip and waved happily at the crowd, but her wave didn't proved to be so good for her and she tripped again, unable to control herself, poor Wixon fell again, which was hilarious!

Supermodel Naomi Campbell had a similar fall at a 1993 Vivienne Westwood show.

Angelina Jolie looked resplendent in a chocolate Atelier Versace strapless silk gown walking the red carpet with partner Brad Pitt for the premiere of his The Tree of Life on Monday, May 16 in France.

The 35-year-old hot mama-of-six opted for a voluminous gown with a long train and a thigh high slit on the left leg, starting just below a chunky bow on low waist.

She showed her long well toned leg through the slit while walking and posing for photogs.

She accessorized with matching Ferragamo peep toe heels and a bangle and stud earrings from her own collection with Robert Procop.

Her brunette hair, styled in soft waves with a side parting, draped her right shoulder. She wore brown eyeshadow, thick eyeliner on lids and cat eyeliner on lower lashes. Nude lip gloss rounded her exquisite looks.

Brad, 47, looked dapper in a Tom Ford shawl lapel tuxedo accented with cuff links, black dress shoes, tinted glasses and slicked back hair. He sported a goatee with just strands of grey for the perfect young and distinguished look.

Earlier in the day, Brad stepped out in all white accompanied by his 30-year-old co-star, Jessica Chastain, for a photo call to plug the film, in which she plays his wife.

The 29-year-old singer opted for a strapless pink and gray geometric design which flaunted a perfect set of pins.

Her platinum curls were left loose, making for a very casual look. Bubblegum cheeks, lips and eye color coordinated with the pink in her dress while a pair of black boots gave the outfit just enough edge for the stage.

One thing's for certain, for someone who seldom steps on the red rug she certainly gave it her all.

Her luscious blond hair was styled in over the shoulder braid and rope braid on right side giving a carefree appearance.

She used red lip color and shimmering gold eye shadow.

Kruger walked the red carpet as the global spokesperson of L'Oreal, the official makeup brand for the festival since 13 years. She was accompanied to the event by beau Joshua Jackson.

Rachel McAdams, like Diane, wore red lip color, bucking the general preference for nude lips.

Rachel, who looked stunning in a red provocative dress on the opening day, chose a totally different look for Day 2: nude high waisted trousers paired with a matching strapless sequined bustier top.

The 32-year-old star, who is expecting her second child, wore a customized gown from designer's fall 2011 collection, with a fitted bustier top, cross straps at the back and a cascading train.

She accessorized with Ferragamo golden clutch and Chrome Hearts CH + KH jewels - stud earrings and a blue statement ring on her right hand ring finger. She flashed her big engagement rock from the previous week.

Kate, who had styled her long, blond hair in waves with a jewel at the Met Gala the previous evening, looked transformed with sleek straight hair styled with a deep side parting. Both the looks were aptly compatible to her red carpet attires.

Her skin glowed, as is typical of expectant mothers.

Others attending the event included Kate's co-stars John Krasinski and Ginnifer Goodwin, film's co-producer Hilary Swank, Ashley Williams, and Natasha Bedingfield and husband Matthew Robinson.

On April 27, while plugging her film on The Today Show, Kate announced her engagement to Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy a week earlier.

The couple started dating in spring 2010. In January 2011, it was announced Hudson and Bellamy were expecting a child. She's in the third trimester of her pregnancy.

Kate already has a 7 year old son named Ryder from her first husband Chris Robinson, the frontman for The Black Crowes.

Something Borrowed opens in theaters on May 6.

Hudson has not signed on any new projects after this film.

Kim Kardashian looked her buxom best at the launch of her new fragrance - Kim Kardashian Gold - at Macy's Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas on May 6, 2011.

The 30-year-old reality TV star wore a strapless two piece black and white number with towering heels.

Gold is Kim's second fragrance after "Kim Kardashian" launched in February 2010.

Under a promotional scheme designed to attract customers for the fragrance launch, the Kim Kardashian fragrance package was in offer for $130. Its purchase earned you a gift and a photo op with Kim as a bonus.

"Can't wait to see everyone at the Fashion Show Mall today at 5PM! If u get my fragrance package now u get a special gift and a pic with me," Kim tweeted before the fragrance launch to her over 7 million followers.

Talking to Women's Wear Daily in July, 2010, Kim had said "When I was little, my sister Kourtney and I tried to make our own perfume by picking flowers and putting them in the blender, because that's how we thought fragrances were made. Our parents thought we were crazy - and it smelled totally gross!"

Kim recently vacationed in Mexico, accompanied by boyfriend Kris Humphries, to celebrate sister Kourtney's 32nd birthday.

Kim, who has been dating the New Jersey Nets player since early December, finds it hard to reign in her love for him.

The 24-year-old British star made fans swoon dressed in Dries Van Noten charcoal suit, black shirt, tie and glossy shoes. He got rid off his stubble for the homeland premiere.

Rob and Reese have been traveling through Europe to plug their film, with Spain being their last stop.

The 35-year-old newly wed Reese wore an off the shoulder body hugging dress with a plunging sweetheart neckline. The color and the fit of the dress was absolutely flattering on her.

Reese said she loved working as a circus girl for two months and trained with the gorgeous elephant that co-stars in the film for three months. She said she thoroughly enjoyed the amazing routine that the film's choreographer choreographed for her.

Reese Witherspoon looked smoldering in a black strapless LBD at the Spanish premiere of Water for Elephants at the Cine Comedia on Sunday, May 1 in Barcelona.

Her young co-star Robert Pattinson, looking dapper himself in a grey suit and blue shirt sans tie, wrapped his arm protectively around the 35-year-old newly wed while posing for photogs on red carpet.

Resse's knee length dress had a plunging sweetheart neckline accented with a satin trim ending in a bow.

She accessorized with black peeptoe pumps and let her wedding rock take the limelight as the solo jewel on her.

Her signature blond hair, which she cut a little shorter soon after her March 26 wedding to talent agent Jim Toth, was styled sleek with side swept bangs framing her forehead and accentuating her gorgeously arched eyebrows.

She cheerily signed autographs for her fans before going into the theater for the film's screening.

Reese plays a circus star Marlena Rosenbluth in the film set in the 1930s, and Pattinson plays Jacob Jankowski,a vet with the traveling circus and Reese's love interest. Reese's barely there and revealing gowns in the film and retro structured curly locks are by themselves compelling enough reasons for her fans to go and watch the film.

Jacqueline West is her costume designer in the film.

A former gymnast, the actress breezed through her action sequences in the film without the need of a double.

Water for Elephants opens in theaters in Spain this Friday, May 6!

Reese will be next seen in McG's action comedy 'This Means War' with co-stars Tom Hardy and Chris Pine. The film is scheduled for a February 17, 2012 release.
