Oksana Grigorieva will reportedly not be charged by the LA District Attorney's office for attempting to extort Mel Gibson, due to insufficient evidence..
A source close to the case tells Radaronline.com that "the battery charge against Mel will officially be filed on Friday morning. The DA's office will announce that the extortion case was rejected. There wasn't enough evidence to prove that a crime occurred."
Earlier today, Mel Gibson's lawyer announced that the star will plead guilty to misdemeanor battery of Oksana in court on Friday in the domestic violence case against him, as part of a plea deal that will involve no jail time, just counseling and possibly probation.
