Here at PopCrunch, we love a good feud. (We’re Goss Watchers — What do you expect?!) So you know this is right up our alley: Sarah Palin has blasted comedienne Kathy Griffin as a “50-year-old adult bully” and a “has-been.”
Ouch: Burn!
The politician-turned-reality TV star went all “Momma Pitbull in Lipstick” during a FOX News appearance this week, complaining that Kathy’s always blasting her family in her stand-up routine. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve likely heard that the My Life on the D-List star repeatedly makes fun of Sarah’s daughters Bristol and Willow. The fiery redhead was greeted with a hearty succession of booing from US troops when she made fun of Bristol’s weight during VH1′s Divas! Special last December. Kathy was even rumored to have bedded Bristol’s estranged baby daddy, Levi Johnston.
“Kathy Griffin can do anything to me or say anything about me, because… she’s a 50-year-old adult bully [and] she’s kind of a has-been comedian,” Sarah said. “I would just ask for respect of my children… Kathy, come up to Alaska and pick on me, but leave my kids alone.”
Sarah is probably doubly pissed because Kathy will soon make a guest appearance on Glee as a — you guessed it — “Sarah Palin-inspired” character.
Unfortunately Kathy, who’s used to being attacked by the celebrities she’s slagged off, didn’t go after Sarah — at least not outright.
“As a fellow reality star, Kathy would like to extend free tickets to her upcoming Broadway show to reality-star Sarah Palin and her reality-TV crew. Kathy supports all reality stars regardless of what they say about her,” according to the comedienne’s rep.
Translation: Sarah Palin, sit’cho ass down!
