Manisha is a slightly older, MILF-y Bollywood sophisticate, a bit like an Asian Kate Winslet. Despite leaving appearances in mainstream movies (like the award-winning Dil Se) behind her in 2003 for a career in lower budget cinema, she has the respect of the industry, and her curious good looks make numerous generations of Bollywood fans clamor for more. Notwithstanding, she did get into trouble recently for allegedly naming her dog after a revered Muslim figure. Well, no one’s perfect!
