Michael Jackson's Eldest Son Maybe Asked to Testify

Michael Jackson's eldest son Prince Michael will reportedly be asked to testify in a pre-trial hearing in the manslaughter case against Dr Conrad Murray.

Murray is accused of administering a fatal propofol overdose that led to the Jackson's death by cardiac arrest on June 25, 2009.

Murray's defense team will argue that Jackson administered the fatal dose himself, exasperated by his inability to sleep, when Murray left his bedside to go to the bathroom.

During the hearing, Murray's defense will focus on Jackson's propensity to self medicate, as part of their strategy.

"What Jackson's children may have seen in the past could be crucial to the defense," a source told London's Daily Star, "If they ever, even once, saw their father administer his own drugs, it will support Dr. Murray's claims."

A total of 30 witnesses are expected to testify during the hearing to decide if the DA has enough evidence for a trial.
