Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal reportedly split last month, after dating for two months.
"They're over," a source told People magazine. "It ended last month."
The cause of the split is not known.
The couple was last seen publicly together on December 9 in Los Angeles, when Jake turned the cops on paparazzi trailing him and Taylor Swift.
The duo, who went public with their romance during the Thanksgiving Holidays after secretly dating for five weeks, ironically spent their Christmas and New Year holidays apart.
Swift, 21, is reported to have rang in the New Year as a single at a party in her home town Nashville. Gyllenhaal, 30, was spotted alone in New York on January 2.
The couple first met over dinner at the London home that Gwyneth Paltrow shares with her husband Chris Martin and their children.
The two were first spotted together on October 23, 2010 while attending the broadcast of Saturday Night Live in Manhattan hosted by Emma Stone, a good friend of Taylor.
The next day, they brunched with another couple at Al Di La in Brooklyn.
