Kim Kardashian celebrated new boyfriend Kris Humphries' 26th birthday in the company with his parents at the STK in New York City on Saturday, February 5.
"This was more of a get to know the parents affair," a source told People magazine. "Kim and his parents really seemed to hit off."
Kim, 30, is said to have enjoyed the parental hobnobbing and even picked the over $900 tab at the end of the night, reports People.
Kim started dating New Jersey Nets player Kris Humphries early in December 2010, when the two were spotted kissing and holding hands in Hoboken, New Jersey.
Ironically, Kim celebrated previous boyfriend Miles Austin's 27th birthday at the same swanky restaurant June 30 last year, when they had been dating barely a month.
Following the dinner, Kim tweeted, "Yummy dinner with yummy people!."
Kim's decision to meet with the parents within two months of starting her new relationship maybe an indication that she is in right earnest about her oft stated desire to settle down and have babies. Or, maybe she was just preparing the parents for her steamy Skechers ad that debuted during Super Bowl on Sunday!
