Taylor Swift Starts World Tour

Taylor Swift jetted out to Singapore Saturday night to kick off her Speak Now World Tour with a gig in the city on February 9.

Shortly before her departure, the 20-year-old country cutie tweeted:

"Driving around with @ashmacthegreat and Back to December just came on KIIS fm! So stoked. About to leave for Singapore tonight!"

After arriving in the city, she tweeted:

"We're in beautiful Singapore! Just went exploring. Now it's time for room service and a Friends marathon."

Swift's tour spans 19 countries with 87 shows. After starting in Asia, it will travel through Europe and to the US.

Irish girlband Wonderland will serve as opening act for the Irish and UK leg, while American rock band Needtobreathe will serve as opening act for the North American leg of the tour, which will start on May 27 in Omaha.

Swift's third studio album, Speak Now, dropped on October 25 and sold approximately 1,047,000 copies in its first week.

A lot of people are going to miss Swift while she is on tour abroad, including rumored beau Jake Gyllenhaal.
