Rihanna looked sweetly alluring in a silver ensemble from Prada at the launch of her fragrance Reb'l Fleur at Macy's in Lakewood, California on Friday, February 18.
The 22-year-old Barbadian singer, who wore a daringly provocative outfit during the Grammys, was subdued promoting her first fragrance.
At last week's 2011 Brit Awards, Rihanna had been warned to tone down her performance by event producers rattled by the singer's risque styling at the Grammys, and in the recently released video of her track S&M, which has been banned in 11 countries because of suggestive imagery showing Rihanna sucking on a banana and wearing latex bondage outfit. Rihanna was named Best International Female Artist at the event.
Rihanna's ensemble on Friday comprised a short blue and silver puffball skirt that flaunted her superbly toned legs; and a silver button-up high neck mid-riff baring top with full sleeves. She accessorized with nude heels.
Rihanna posed with a bottle of the perfume, shaped as a high heel. She also signed bottles purchased by lucky shoppers at the event.
Before arriving, Rihanna had alerted her fans to the event with the tweet.
"I hope yall lookin REAL sexy @ Macy's rt now! Mama's on her way, and she smellin real good too."
Earlier this month Rihanna released a commercial to promote the fragrance that is described as 'daring, sexy and truly memorable'.
Here is the sultry advertisement that plugs the perfume's tagline – Bad Feels So Good, Good Feels So Bad.
