Shah Rukh Khan will reportedly be paired with Katrina Kaif in an upcoming project from Yash Raj Films that will mark Yash Chopra's directorial comeback.
Yash Chopra's last film, Veera Zara (2002), paired Shah Rukh with Preity Zinta and turned out to be blockbuster hit.
A source close to YRF tells the Mumbai Mirror, "Katrina was the first choice for the heroine's role in Yashji's film. She immediately said 'yes' to the film. She has loved the script and is looking forward to working with Yashji. She will play Shah Rukh's romantic interest."
Katrina is currently filming YRF's Mere Brother Ki Dulhan in which she is paired with Imran Khan.
