Rani Mukerji looked a draped delight in a blue, floor length Grecian gown at the unveiling of the Forevermark Diamonds at Tote in Mahalaxmi, Mumbai on April 4. The 32-year-old Black star paired her back baring gown with exquisite diamond jewelry from the brand, and black heels.
Her side swept hair, colored dark brown, was styled in loose waves and an off center parting. She wore smokey eye makeup that accentuated her light cat eyes, nude lip gloss, and subtle wash of color on cheeks.
The presser was hosted by Stephen Lussier, CEO, Forevermark, an offshoot of De Beers. The highlight of the event was the showcasing of the world's largest pair of diamonds, Steinmetz Yin Yang. The D/Flawless round brilliant diamonds of 35.61 and 35.77 carats initially weighed over 100 carats as rough diamonds. Rani had earlier displayed Forevermark diamonds when the brand collaborated with Salman Khan for his Being Human fashion show during HDIL Couture Week in October 2010; in a Umrao Jaan style makeover Rani had strutted a 65.7 carat haath phool (hand jewel) designed by Mona Mehta, and crafted by Rosy Blue. Rani is currently filming for Reema Kagti's Next with co-stars Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor. The Suspense Drama's working title is The Act of Murder.
