Matt Damon & Wife Luciana Welcome Daughter Stella

Actor Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso welcomed the arrival of their third — and let the Oscar winner tell it — final daughter, Stella Zavala, in the Big Apple last Wednesday.

“Mom and baby are both healthy,” spokesfolks for the ecstatic family told PEOPLE Magazine Saturday. “The whole family is thrilled.”

The Bourne Identity star, 40, and Luciana, 35, wed in 2005 and have two other daughters together — Isabella, 4, and Gia, 2. Luciana also has a daughter from a previous marriage, Alexa, 11. Just last week, Damon told PARADE Magazine that he and Luciana planned to close up shop on childbearing after Stella’s arrival.

“My wife is about to have our fourth kid and we’ve drawn a line in the sand.”

Earlier this year, Matt credited fatherhood with helping him avoid some of Hollywood’s pitfalls.

“It’s pretty easy to kind of lose your way. I think working consistently with great people is really helpful. Also having kids is really helpful. They kind of disabuse you of the notion of your greatness pretty quickly,” he said in April. “There’s a routine that you get into with kids that precludes you from going back to your single days. I’m probably more boring than I used to be. I go to bed earlier and I get up earlier.”

Russell Brand Katy Perry Married

Katy Perry is no longer a single “California Gurl.”

The pop hitmaker married British comedian Russell Brand in an India wedding ceremony on Saturday, The Associated Press reports. Approximately 80 guests– including British celeb David Waillaims and singer Rihanna, who served as Katy’s maid of honor — looked on as the couple exchanged their vows at the luxury Aman-I-Khas Resort. The resort was the site of Russell’s proposal to Katy last December and nestled just a stone’s throw away from the Ranthambhore Tiger Sanctuary.

Russell and Katy decided to wed without the benefit of a preunp.

The bride, who turns 26 on Monday, had implored fans for “privacy” in the weeks leading up to her special day: “TWIT BREAK: Greatest gift u can give us is respect & ♥ during this private X. No use wasting ur X w/ STOLEN or FALSE info. Thnku for this,” the “Teenage Dream” singer Tweeted on Tuesday.

Following today’s nups, the newlyweds hired 13 vehicles to take their guests on a tour of Ranthambhore National Park following the ceremony, tipsters tell The Associated Press. The park is home to hyenas, leopards, wild boars and sloth bears, but it best known for it’s large tiger population.
