Actor Leonardo DiCaprio is going over to the dark side to play a devilish role. Leo, 35, is set to star as a serial killer in a big-screen adaptation of Erik Larson’s novel The Devil in the White City. According to Deadline.com, the Inception star and his producing partners have bought the rights to Erik’s book about Dr. HH Holmes, a serial killer who is believed to have murdered as many as 200 people in Chicago during the 1880s. Holmes made The World’s Fair Hotel, a ‘murder castle’ where he murdered young women and stripped their skeletons to sell for medical and scientific study. He would place adverts in local newspapers luring women into his deathtrap.
