Rihanna GQ Magazine UK Jan. 2011 Pics
Rihanna gets red-hot on the Jan. 2011 cover of British GQ — but it’s the remarks the “Loud” star makes inside the saucy issue that is attracting all of the attention.
As luck would have it, celeb gawkers are at their wits end with hearing about the night Chris Brown went upside RiRi’s head in his rented Lambo.Rihanna’s created quite a stink on Twitter this week after she divulged additional details of her abusive relationship with the R&B star and once again discussed the early Sunday morning that he brutally battered her after a Pre-Grammy party nearly two years ago.
“Sometimes when you’re on the inside of a relationship like that, you can’t see it clearly for what it is. “I left – it was the best feeling. It was so freeing. I witnessed it happening to my mom and I said I would never let that happen to me – and then it was happening,” the singer told GQ UK Magazine. “Now, when I look back, it bugs me out that I couldn’t see it for what it was. Before that, I was just a little girl from the island, singing pop music. It was easy to think I didn’t have a problem in the world. Then all of a sudden, boom! Everybody realises that I do have problems. It made me strong. It’s a moment in my life I wish would disappear. In my head, it’s gone. I have too much pride, I’d never let anyone see me cry. I don’t want you to remember me for that.”
Early Monday, a fan hit Twitter to ask Rihanna why won’t she stop talking about the incident. The Grammy winner — who is now dating baseball star Matt Kemp — says she’d like nothing more than to bury the Ghosts of Breezy’s Fists, but the media has made moving forward difficult.
“People won’t stop asking about it! It’s fuckin’ annoying! Nobody wants to relive that, but some people can’t respect that! I get it, they wanna raise awareness to young girls! But it ends up just making me look bitter, pitiful, spiteful, and angry!”
