Madonna is grooming the heir to her Queen of Pop throne — her doppelganger daughter Lourdes! The teen, who’s already collaborated with mom on the Macy’s clothing line Material Girl, was long ago bitten by the acting bug. She attends LaGuardia High School, New York’s prestigious performing arts academy, and was once offered a starring role alongside Dakota Fanning in the 2008 film The Secret Lives of Bees. Madge, however, is hoping that she can convince Lourdes to take an interest in singing instead.
The lookalike pair have reportedly put down vocals on a track called “It’s So Cool.” Madonna’s still deciding whether to feature the song on her next album or include it in the soundtrack for her new movie about American socialite Wallis Simpson.
“Madonna hopes Lourdes will step into her shoes and become one of the biggest female artists in the world” a source divulged to The Sun last week . “She’s the perfect mentor for her daughter and is keen to assist her first steps into the industry. Lourdes has a great voice and plenty of character – like her mom.”
