The former Friend, 41, has a storied past with substance abuse (Who knew?!) and has decided to enter an undisclosed rehabilitation center as a proactive measure in his ongoing journey toward sobriety.
“I’m making plans to go away for a month to focus on my sobriety and to continue my life in recovery. Please enjoy making fun of me on the World Wide Web,” Matthew joked Thursday.

Perry was treated for prescription pill addiction in 1997 and again in 2001. The star last shared the screen with Michelle Trachtenberg and Zac Efron in the 2009 comedy 17 Again.
