Vergara, who co-starred with David Beckham in a recent Pepsi ad, is currently shooting her first advertising campaign for the giant cosmetics brand, which will debut in the form of TV ads and billboards in Jan. 2012. The Colombian bombshell joins the likes of Ellen DeGeneres, Taylor Swift, Queen Latifah, Dania Ramirez and Drew Barrymore as the latest COVERGIRL spokesmodel.
“I have loved playing with makeup ever since I was a little girl,” the Emmy-nominated Modern Family actress, 38, exclaimed in a press release Thursday. “And now, I am so honored to join the lineup of extraordinary women that are and have been CoverGirls, and to be a part of a brand that is so committed to helping women look and feel beautiful.”
