Britney Spears' conservators fear that her former bodyguard, Fernando Flores, may leak information that could endanger her life.
Flores filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Britney on September 8 accusing her of "repeated unwanted sexual advances" towards him and ill-treating her children.
According to TMZ, Flores wants the case to be tried in a civil court, but Britney's conservators are apprehensive that a public trial will give him the opportunity to extort Britney by threatening to reveal private information.
The conservators have filed legal documents in L.A. County Superior Court asking the case to be moved to a probate court so that any allegations made by Flores against Britney remain confidential.
"There is a real possibility that Ms. Spears will be exposed to danger by the release of confidential and personal information," the conservators have contended.
A hearing has been scheduled for the end of November.
