Angelina Jolie has confirmed past speculation that a new tattoo on her left arm is a tribute to her partner Brad Pitt.
Jolie, who is at the 64th Annual Cannes Film Festival to promote her film Kung Fu Panda 2, confirmed the speculation while speaking to Extra on Wednesday, May 11.
She was first seen with the new tattoo during her visit to the Tunisian-Libyan border on April 5.
The tattoo appears as a seventh line on her left arm below the shoulder, and, like the six lines above, is a set of geographical map coordinates.
The earlier six lines showed the coordinates of the birthplaces of each of her six children. The new tattoo has the co-ordinates of Brad's birthplace - Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Jolie plays a tigress in Kung Fu Panda 2 and the animation film interestingly deals with adoption. Jolie says her kids have seen the film.
"They laughed out loud hysterically through the whole thing and they just loved it, and then I was serious-mom-in-the-car and said, 'Does anyone have any questions?'" she said.
The kids had no questions about adoption after seeing the film, says Jolie.
"We talk very openly in our house, so orphanage, birth parents, are happy words in our house," she said.
In the past Jolie has said that she and Brad are open to adopting more children. However, she told Extra that they have no plan to adopt "at this time."
