Hip-shaking R&B star Beyonce Knowles-Carter will be awarded with the Millennium Award at the 2011 Billboard Awards this month. Queen B will be on hand to receive the prize during the May 22 event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, PopEater.com said Monday.
The former Destiny’s Child songstress, who will release her fourth solo album this year, has sold millions of records and won 16 Grammys since debuting with the smash single “No, No, No” in 1997. In 2009, Billboard honored Knowles-Carter’s career achievements by bestowing the star with its Woman of the Year title.
