Kate and Pippa Middleton Sibling Rivals

Kate and Pippa Middleton Sibling RivalsKate Middleton and little sister Pippa are almost the same age, making some competitiveness between the two unavoidable. They're both girls who have moved in high circles, both stylish, and confident about who they are.

Andrew Morton who famously penned the definitive book on Princess Diana, The Diana Chronicles, has now moved on to her first-born son and his wife in his title William and Catherine: Their Story.

The author discussed the royal pair and the new media darling Pippa with PopEater.

When pressed about whether Kate was taken aback by the press' fascination with her sister, he replied, "I think she would have been. It's amazing what a pert backside can do! It's amusing, but it's slightly misogynistic, isn't it?"

Describing the two sisters' relationship, he explained that Catherine and Pippa are very competitive, like William and Harry.

The wedding day "was Catherine's day and Pippa played a significant walk-on part, that was it. I don't think she stole the show. Pippa has an exotic walk-on part."

We'd have to agree with that one, considering the way Harry glanced over at the bride and whispered to his brother, compelling him to look as well.

Speaking of the newest royal, supermodel Kate Moss, declared that the "other" Kate, Duchess Catherine, portrayed the qualities of a runway diva on the big day in Westminster Abbey.

She tells the Daily Telegraph, "She was so chic and seamless. And just beautiful. It was just as a royal wedding should be."

The 37-year-old witnessed the royal wedding "in the country, with friends, and kids who were all crying. We were like, "You can marry Harry!" Kate and Pippa Middleton Sibling Rivals

As for Pippa Middleton, the one who walked the aisle on the redhead's arm to the envy of millions, Morton has said that she knows full well her "social access."

"I think what's going to be interesting will be how Pippa and James (Middleton) handle fame by association, which is almost more difficult to handle than fame by its own rise."

Morton revealed that it isn't just America who craves a Pippa and Harry love match.

"We all want a Hollywood ending and there is a precedent for it in the Middleton family. Kate and Pippa's grandfather Peter and his brother married two sisters."

One thing we can't deny, if Pippa does end up with Harry, men the world over will be heartbroken!
