The ante just went up in the War of Roses between exes Kelsey and Camille Grammer. The former Frasier actor is suing his Playboy model ex for sole physical custody of their two young children; a daughter Mason, 9, and a six-year-old son, Jude.
The 56-year-old actor filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court Friday asking a judge to grant for joint legal custody with Camille, 42, and sole physical custody. He is currently working in Chicago and asks that Camille have custody of the children during July and for him to have them for August. Kelsey Grammer is also requesting custody of the boy and girl during the Thanksgiving holiday period and to have them again during the second half of their school winter break. Grammer court filing offers no reason for why he wants sole physical custody now. The children currently live in Los Angeles with their mother, who recently signed on for a second season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
The Grammers divorced in February, mere days before Grammer wed for the fourth time, tying the knot with former flight attendant Kayte Walsh at The Plaza Hotel in New York. During her first season as one of Bravo’s Real Housewives, Camille claimed Kelsey dumped her for the 29-year-old fetus after almost fourteen years of marriage and a nanosecond of warning.
A hearing on the custody request is scheduled to go before Los Angeles Family Court Judge Maren Nelson on June 27.
