Maria Shriver has retained the services of a high-powered divorce attorney as the world reacts to the revelation that her husband, former actor and California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, impregnanted their maid of 20 years, Mildred “Patty” Baena in their Brentwood home back in 1997.
The women gave birth to Schwarzenegger’s sons just a week apart, making a pretty compelling case for prominent Los Angeles family law attorney Laura Wasser, who will represent California’s former First Lady in any future divorce proceedings. Maria’s still deciding whether or not to end her 25 year marriage to the Terminator star, the mother of four hired Wasser several weeks after she and Arnold left the Governor’s Mansion in Sacramento.
The couple announced their separation a week ago; at the time, no reason was given for the split.
