Taylor Swift Won't Date Anyone Inclined to Hide a Relationship

As a celebrity, Taylor Swift says she is comfortable living under public scrutiny, even having a relationship in the glare of paparazzi flash bulbs.

And why not, considering that the 21-year-old country singer notoriously alludes to her relationships in her songs.

Swift, 21, made the matured assertion while appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday, May 11.

When show host Ellen suggested that it must be hard for Swift to have public relationships and heartbreaks, Swift emphatically disagreed.

"I think it's just obnoxious if I complain about anything. . . . I hear people talk about, like, 'Oh, and the intrusions on my privacy.' It's like, there are a million other jobs you could have had. And, for me, I've just come to an acceptance of the fact that this is my life and if somebody wants to hide a relationship or has privacy issues, then we don't have the same view point," she said.

"Live your life. If people happen to take pictures, then, you know, you laugh about it in the car afterward," she added.

Amidst Swift's past boyfriends, Joe Jonas had reservations about going public with their relationship. More recently, Jake Gyllenhaal, was rumored to have become uncomfortable with the paparazzi attention that their relationship was drawing.
