Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt in Kidnapping Drama

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt were held at gunpoint by armed police who stormed their home in January of this year.

According to RadarOnline, an onlooker saw a veiled woman being rushed into the couple’s Malibu home by security men and thought a kidnapping was taking place. The onlooker then called 911.

Armed police responded to the call and stormed the house and handcuffed the couple while officers searched the property for the suspected victim.

However, it was found that the woman in the veil had been Heidi, who was trying to keep the results of her cosmetic surgery hidden.

The incident took place in January, a month or so after Heidi underwent ten procedures in one day.

Pratt said, “They thought we were holding someone hostage. The police got a call that a car had pulled up and security guards got out and took a woman with a bag over her head into the house. The police surrounded the house and the LAPD helicopter circled us.”

‘The Hills’ stars initially refused to open the door to police, attempting instead to convince them to wait for their lawyer to arrive.

But facing a SWAT team storming their home, the couple eventually relented.

Spencer was shoved to his knees but begged police to not force Heidi to the ground as well because, he said, she’d just had surgery.

“All we had been trying to do was to keep her face hidden from anyone possibly taking pictures outside the house because we were concerned about the legal ramifications from People Magazine, who we had a deal with for the first photos post surgery.”

Despite the incident, Spencer said he did not hold a grudge against the police.
