Supernanny Jo Frost is “hanging up her cape” as the Goddess of Taming Unruly Children to focus on having a few anklebiters of her own
“It was a very conscious decision, through much reflection. But I need to create more balance in my life,” Frost, 39, tells The New York Post of her decision to end her longrunning ABC reality show after the upcoming season.
The spinster says traveling between England and America for filming since 2004 has left her childless, single, and still living with her dad as the Big 4-O looms in the not so distant future.
Something’s gotta give!
Childbearing “is not an option when you are traveling and working 46 weeks out of the year,” says Frost. “Proper balance will allow me to date and have a relationship and look at my own future of having a family.”
Of course there is one upside, Jo’s knack with kids has made the Brit a multimillionairess. The success of Supernanny has spawned nearly 50 spinoffs of the show in various nations around the globe.
