Morning Glory star Rachel McAdams said she’s not as “highly-strung” as her character in the new movie. McAdams, 31, plays the role of news producer Becky, who struggles to keep track of her reporters. Asked if she is like her onscreen character in real life, she said to MTV News: “I don’t think I’m quite as highly-strung. I hope I’m not as [highly-strung] as Becky is. She’s a go-getter.” However, McAdams admitted she is like Becky in the way she loves her work. She said: “Well, my job. I love getting in there and being really physical. When it started to look like she [Becky] was going to be fairly physical, [director] Roger [Mitchell] asked me to run around New York in high heels, and I love that stuff. So, that’s what I have that [high energy] for, but I don’t manifest it the same way Becky did.”
