Taylor Swift fans should expect another song from her pretty soon with the name of Jake Gyllenhaal in it. This is because Taylor is now an ex and at it is well known, Swift mentions her ex in her songs.
PEOPLE reported that the couple broke up last month. It cited a source close to the couple. The report quoted the source as saying “They’re over. It ended last month.”
The pair just got together last October after they were seen together at the backstage at Saturday Night Live in NYC. At that time, Swift and Gyllenhaal revealed that they were there to lend support to Emma Stone.
After sometime, the pair were seen together again at some coffee shops in New York and Nashville. During the Thanksgiving, the pair spent time together. It seems though that it will not be the case again, at least for now.
That explains why the Swift and Gyllenhaal spent the Christmas and New Year holidays separately. They even spent their birthdays separately and it raises the issue of whether they are even on talking terms. Swift had her New Year’s Eve party at Nashville while Gyllenhaal stayed in NYC.
