Aamir Khan at His Brawn

Aamir Khan rolled up the long sleeves of his sheer dress shirt to give photogs a clear view of his rippling arm and chest muscles outside the Jaago 90.8 Radio Station in Bandra, Mumbai, Sunday, May 1.

It is the metrosexual era so a macho physique must come vanity packed, which is why Aamir took time off to touch up his face and get his hair right before facing the flash frenzy in the sweltering afternoon heat in Mumbai.

Aamir, 46, was plugging the 'Jaago Mumbai Community' of Bandra, the area where he has lived since birth.

Aamir appears to have bulked up for his upcoming film directed by Reema Kagti in which he plays a cop. He takes great joy in flaunting his muscles these-days. On April 27, at the launch of a swanky coffee shop in his Bandra neighborhood, he similarly made sure photogs took pictures of his bulging biceps.

At the radio promotions Aamir said he supports his Bandra community efforts with his money and time.

"When they were starting the radio channel, I helped them with funds. I would like to give my time to the radio channel as well. There are other celebrities who also helped in getting the funds. And whenever they would require funds, we would love to contribute," Aamir said at the event.

"Bandra is such a place where the concentration of celebrity is the most. Me and Salman were born in Bandra and now Shah Rukh also stays here. Sanjay Dutt and Ranbir were also born here and so is Kareena.

"So the radio station shouldn't fall short of neither funds nor celebrities. I would say all of them should come and be part of the radio station. This is our radio station. We shouldn't come as celebrities, we should come as a Bandraites," he added.

Reema Kagti's next, reportedly titled Zakhmi, is set in Mumbai's red light district. Besides being its lead star, Aamir is the co-producer of the film that additionally stars Rani Mukerji as a sex worker and Kareena Kapoor as a social worker attached to the red light area.
