Deepika Padukone was dressed cool to beat the Mumbai afternoon heat at Neutrogena's Guinness World Record event for the largest Umbrella Mosaic at the Bandra Kurla Complex Grounds in Mumbai on Thursday, May 12. The 25-year-old Neutrogena brand ambassador flaunted her superbly toned legs and arms in a mini skirt and a white surplice neck top.
She accessorized with a wide tan leather belt high on the waist, peep-toe pumps, and gold hoop earrings.
Her side swept straight hair was styled half up and half down; the light makeup went well with the 34 degree celsius ambient temperature. 
Deepika arrived at the event two and a half hours after the appointed time, much to the exasperation of the assembled media and the 1056 participants forced to wait in the hot sun.
Some of the photogs had a duty call on the other end of Mumbai for Aamir Khan's presser for his home production Delhi Belly, and they were not happy.
Deepika recently wrapped filming for two projects: Prakash Jha's Aaarakshan with co-stars Saif Ali Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, due for release on August 12; and Rohit Dhawan's Desi Boyz ,with co-stars Akshay Kumar and John abraham, due in theaters on November 25.
She is currently filming for the period action drama, Rana, headlining Rajnikant.
