Selena Gomez has not been wearing her promise ring for several months now. It may, or may not, have anything to do with rumored boyfriend Justin Bieber.
Gomez, 18, was first introduced to Bieber, 16, in February 2010; she was wearing the promise ring till April 2010. Since then, she has either lost her chastity resolve, or just the chastity ring.
When she was 12 years old, Gomez vowed to practice abstinence until she was married and asked her father to give her a promise ring to remind her of her vow. Her father bought a ring for her and had it blessed in church. Since then Gomez had been seen wearing the purity ring that says "True Love Waits" on her right hand ring finger.
