She rocked the powder pink, one shoulder number with humming bird print from the designer's S/S 2010 collection. The dress had a sweetheart neckline and Swarovski embellishments on shoulder.
She accessorized with black peep-toe heels, stud earrings, jeweled watch on her left arm, and a circular ring on her right hand ring finger, not to mention a signature nose pin.
Her neatly swept back hair was styled in a tousled updo. She wore light pink lipstick, clumped mascara, pink creamy eyeshadow and pink blush.
Sonakshi told Sawfnews.com exclusively that she loves Gaurav Gupta designs; as to this particular dress, she felt it would look flattering on her.
Sonakshi features on Filmfare's cover wearing a green strapless gown and carefree wavy tresses. The cover story is titled - Sonkashi Sinha - Showtown's brand new sweetheart on being different and why she would not call Salman Khan bhai.
Speaking at the event, Sonakshi said her dad Shatrughan Sinha joked with her that she managed to feature on Filmfare's cover after just one film while even after 30 years in Bollywood he remains confined to the last page of the magazine. (Senior Sinha runs a humor question answer column in the magazine since many years.)
As to her interview in the magazine, Sonakshi said it comes straight from her heart; her words show her for what she is - someone who refuses to call a spade a shovel. She talks about Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, her weight loss and even about her uncanny resemblance to Reena Roy.
Sonakshi recently launched the Hindi issue of Filmfare, and she was on its cover too.
