Salman Khan, who was reported by a Mumbai tabloid to have dissed director Sanjay Leela Bhansail at a charity event in Mumbai on November 29, cleared the air appearing on Big Boss 4.
Recalling the incident at IBN 7's Bajaj Allianz Super Idol Awards, Salman told TOI that a deaf and dumb girl came up to him and asked him to make a film on people like her.
Salman, who believes such films don't achieve their intended purpose, jokingly told the girl she needed to go to Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
"If you want charity, go to Sanjay Leela Bhansali," Salman told the girl.
The girl said she didn't want charity.
"You've just saved Sanjay Leela Bhansali some money in that case!" Salman joked.
Alluding to reports that Bhansail had taken offence at the purported dissing, Salman told TOI:
"I hear Bhansali is angry with me now, so be it! I thought we'd do four to five films together in our lifetime, now I think it'll be only two - Khamoshi and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam!"
