Jennifer Aniston Dog Depression

Money can’t buy happiness, not even for a dog.

Jennifer Aniston’s pampered Welsh corgi/terrier has been prescribed anti-depressants after being diagnosed with depression, insiders tell Now Magazine.

Jen took her longtime companion Norman to an animal therapist after he disappeared for a night and started acting strangely upon his return. According to the vet, the pooch is suffering from doggie depression.

A Now source says: “Jen became seriously worried about Norman’s mental health after his disappearance. He came back dazed and lacklustre and often didn’t seem to recognise her. She’s concerned this could be it for him and she’s devastated. The dog therapist said Norman was depressed and that’s what was causing him to act oddly.”

Norman — who at 15 qualifies for a senior citizen discount among The Canine Crowd — has been prescribed anti-depressants. Jennifer, however, feels a hearty dose of TLC is the only medicine her boy needs. The actress has vowed to help lift her dog’s mood by spending more quality time with him.

“She’s hoping to coax him out of it herself,” the source adds. “People may laugh at her, but Norman really is her best friend. She can’t bear to see him like this, but he’s very old and she’s starting to accept he might be on his last legs.”
