Amid continuing speculation of engagement news, Prince William and his longtime girlfriend Kate Middleton have stepped out for a pal’s wedding. The couple, who began dating eight years ago, attended the service for friends Harry Meade and Rosie Bradford at St Peter and St Paul church in Northleach, Gloucestershire. “She looked so happy,” an observer noted. The duo looked at ease, according to royals author Judy Wade. “They were both so relaxed, and she looked incredibly demure by his side. She was very much his fair lady in her big picture hat,” Wade said, explaining the celebration was the kind of event the young couple would want for themselves. “You get the impression it’s the sort of wedding they would wish they could have in Gloucestershire with friends, rather than a big formal wedding in central London,” Wade told People.
