Colin Firth, Wife Charm at The King's Speech London Premiere

Colin Firth and his gorgeous wife Livia Giuggioli attended the star studded screening and after party of 'The King's Speech' during the 54th BFI London Film Festival at Just St. James on October 21 in London.

Colin, 50, looked immaculate in a black suit and navy blue tie. Livia displayed a wild sartorial streak in a animal print skirt and black top.

Colin posed on the red carpet with co-stars Helena Bonham Carter, Geoffrey Rush and director Tom Hooper.

Earlier in the day, Firth attended a press conference and photocall for the film along with Carter, Rush and Hooper.

Guy Pearce, who also stars in the film, gave both the events a miss.

Much anticipated, The King's Speech is a British period drama penned by David Seidler. The film was screened last month at the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival where it won People's Choice Award.

There is a strong buzz that Firth is likely to get an Oscar nod for Best Actor Award for his role in the film. Firth received an Oscar nomination last year for A Single Man.

Colin Firth stars as King George VI, Queen Elizabeth's father, who had a speech disorder. The film follows the king from his stammer filled closing speech at the British Empire Exhibition at Wembley on 31 October 1925 to his opening address at Australia's Federal Parliament at Canberra in 1927, which went successfully after he trained diligently under Lionel Logue, an Australian-born speech therapist.

The film is set for a limited release in the United States on November 26 and general release across the UK on January 7, 2011.
