Russell Brand and Katy Perry are getting married this weekend at a luxury resort outside the Ranthambhore tiger sanctuary in the Indian state of Rajasthan, a local tour operator said Thursday. The British comedian and American pop star arrived Wednesday at Mumbai airport.
The ‘Teenage Dream’ singer was wearing a Nath nose ring and a gold chain, which are traditionally worn by Indian women.
It’s just another sign of Katy and Russell embracing Indian traditions and customs. Barbadian pop singers RihannaRihanna, David Williams, Jonathan Ross are likely to attend the wedding. Special security has been stationed at the hotel to avoid any unwanted incident during the six-day celebration of the wedding.
