A year and a half after “Domestic Disturbia” captivated headlines, Rihanna has spoken out about the horrific assault she suffered at the hands of her then-boyfriend, Chris Brown.

In an interview with Britain’s Marie Claire Magazine, the 22-year-old talks about her emotional state immediately after the traumatic event.

“God has a crazy way of working, and sometimes when stuff happens you feel like, ‘What did I do to deserve this?’ Why was it backfiring on me?” Rihanna
says. “I was very lost. I have to say I felt really confused. I hate talking about it but it was really crazy because I felt so out of touch with myself and when that happens it’s scary because nothing you say or do feels like it’s you.”

Reduced to tears, the singer added: “You just lose touch of everything that you love and everything that you would normally do; how you would dress or how you would say something. It just feels like it’s not coming from you. It’s just this one empty vase. I felt like an empty vessel.”

Rihanna says she considered taking Chris back, but deep down she knew she had to move forward without him.

“One day, I remember I was in New York at the Trump Hotel and I woke up and I just knew I was over it,” she told the mag. “I needed that wake-up call in my life. I needed a turning point, and that’s what God was giving to me. All [of] this terrible stuff they say to you, it breaks you down. [But] once you’re back on your feet – if you ever make it back on your feet – that’s the ultimate achievement.”

Of her new life, and her new relationship
with Dodgers baseball star Matt Kemp, Rihanna says: “I feel like I smile for real this time. The smiles come from inside, and it exudes in everything I do. The smiles come from inside, and it exudes in everything I do. People feel my energy is different. When I smile they can tell that it’s pure bliss and not just a cover up.”

When asked if she believes in “destiny,” the Barbados-born beauty responded: “Definitely. And I never did before,” Rihanna told the mag. “The most important thing is to be happy and true to yourself. I don’t want to look back at this 30 years from now and say, ‘I did it all to make them happy and I didn’t enjoy.’ I want to be able to say people loved me because of who I am.”

Audrina Patridge Reality Show Premiering On VH1 2011

The former reality star from The Hills and pro partner Tony Dovolani Tuesday were voted off Dancing With the Stars Tuesday, despite having landed at No. 2 on the show’s leaderboard. But the tube isn’t done with Audrina just yet — we’ll get to see a lot more of doe-eyed star live and in living color
on her new VH1 reality soap!

The Hillers has inked a deal with VH1 to star in and co-produce an as-yet-titled reality docu-series chronicling her wacky family life and quest to be taken seriously as a professional actress, The Hollywood Reporter said this week. Filming will begin early next year on the project, which is being developed by Survivor creator Mark Burnett.

News of Audrina’s project comes just a day after MTV axed The City, a reality spinoff starring fellow Hills alum Whitney Port.

The Audrina Show is expected to debut in 2011.

Madonna Adopting Again

Madge adding another African orphan to the collection? Word on The Curb has it that Madonna is off to Malawi to pick out a third adopted tot to join her family.

The 52-year-old has adopted two children — David and Mercy Grace — from the impoverished nation in recent years, and according to reports, Mercy, has been begging her for a younger sibling to play with.

A loose-lipped informant claims that “while Mercy Grace is pleading for another little brother or sister, Madge is not sure she’s quite ready but she’s kept the door open and been in touch with the orphanage. She has big plans to raise money, including a possible charity concert next year.”

We hear Madge will visit the orphanage at the end of the year. Whether or not she comes home with a brand new kid in time for Christmas, we’ll just have to wait and see.

The songbird is set to make a mayjah announcement on NBC’s The TODAY Show Thursday as she kicks off the promo tour for her sophomore holiday album, Merry Christmas II You, in stores Nov. 2.

Carey, 40, has been married to television personality Nick Cannon, 30, for two years. Sources close to Cannon and Carey claim the pop icon is expecting a son — the first child for the couple — after undergoing in vitro fertilization at the Southern California Reproductive Center in Beverly Hills.

According to Cannon, Mariah has said that tomorrow’s announcement will “enlighten people” as to what’s going on, and that the baby
rumors and speculation have become “too much” for her.

Heidi Montag’s Mom Is A Maid

Sign of the recession: While surgically-altered reality starlet Heidi Montag is dropping C-Notes on hair extensions and fine-tuning her funbags under the umbrella of the California sun, a world away in Colorado, her mother struggles to make ends meet as a housekeeper.

Montag’s estranged Darlene Egelhoff, a former restauranter, has been forced to accept work as a maid after the economic recession forced her to shutter her business earlier this year. Egelhoff told TV newsmagazine Inside Edition Thursday that when the restaurant she and her husband owned for 21 years closed suddenly last spring, the couple found themselves unable to pay their bills. The only employment Darlene could find was cleaning homes in nearby Crested Butte, Colorado.

“That’s been very humbling for me and I very much appreciate that experience because I don’t ever want to get full of myself and think I’m too good to do anything,” Egelhoff told correspondent Jim Monet.

Darlene admits that she becomes a bit embarrassed when she runs into former clients on her new gig.

Heidi has been on the outs with her mom ever since Egelhoff appeared on an episode of The Hills and voiced her disapproval in Montag’s decision to undergo 10 plastic surgery procedures in one day. Darlene, however, is desperate to mend fences with her 23-year-old daughter and has started a blog called “Metamorphosis of a Mother” — filled with childhood pictures and stories about Heidi — hoping Montag will read it.

Fergie Billboard Magazine Woman Of The Year 2010

Fergie is already pop self-appoitnted “Dutchess,” now the Black Eyed Peas songstress has another impressive title to add to her resume after being crowned Billboard Magazine’s 2010 Woman of the Year.

The “Fergalicious” singer will succeed previous honorees, such as Ciara, Beyonce, and Reba McEntire when she accepts the coveted prize in a ceremony in New York City Dec. 32.

The Woman of Year prize pays tribute to a trailblazing female artist and her accomplishments in the industry. Fergie’s lone solo album — 2006’s The Dutchess — went multiplatinum. Additionally, her last BEP disc, The E.N.D., topped the charts and was one of the best-selling discs of 2009.

“I am humbled and excited to accept the Billboard Woman of the Year Award,” Fergie said in a statement. “Being honored by Billboard is a great career achievement.”

The Black Eyed Peas’ next disc, The Beginning, drops Nov. 30.

Michelle Trachtenberg Will Star In CW Crime Drama Next Fall

Move over, Law & Order: Los Angeles: Michelle Trachtenberg is set to star in a new CW crime drama, which the Buffy alum will also develop and co-produce.

The actress has slapped her signature on a deal with the network to develop, produce and star in a procedural about a young criminology student “with a gift for profiling and a dark past,” Deadline.com inside snoops say. Ironically, Michelle, now 25, cut her teeth playing a pint-sized “criminal investigator” in the 1996 kids flick Harriet the Spy.

Gossip Girl creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, who first worked with Trachtenberg during her stint as Georgina Sparks on the primetime soap, will join the actress in producing the as-yet-titled program.

The show will premiere next fall.

Tila Tequila, A Kidnapper

We haven’t seen much of Tila Tequila lately (There is a God!) and now we think we might know why. Has the Z-listed compulsive fibber taken up kidnapping in her spare time?

A Los Angeles photographer has filed a request for a restraining order against the Asian minx amid allegations she kidnapped his girlfriend and threatened to kill him.

Oh — there’s just one little problem: Tequila’s alleged kidnap victim has said that she was never abducted.

Papper Garry Sun filed a complaint alleging that Tequila kidnapped and threatened his girlfriend Shyla Jennings.

However, a rep for Jennings has denied that the incident ever happened. In fact, Shyla’s never even heard of Garry.

“Shyla was not kidnapped. She has no idea who Garry Sun [the photographer] is. This whole thing is fully fabricated,” the rep has been quoted as saying.

According to Tequila’s attorney Alan Gutman, Sun “is a former paparazzi who was terminated from his role on Tila’s website and is now desperate to get back at her.”

He added: “Sun’s filing shows that anyone can file anything in a courthouse. He will undoubtedly be held accountable by appropriate authorities for making these false allegations.”

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Anthony Jones has not yet decided whether he will grant the temporary restraining order.

Fergie named Billboard’s Woman of the Year

The Dutchess is being crowned “Woman of the Year” by Billboard magazine.

Fergie will be given the honor on Dec. 2 at a ceremony in New York City. The only female member of the Black Eyed Peas says she’s “humbled” to accept the award and called it a “great career achievement.”

The honor pays tribute to a trailblazing female artist and her accomplishments. Though Fergie’s only solo album was 2006′s mutli-platinum “The Dutchess,” she’s continued to sell out venues and score hits with the Black Eyed Peas. They have a new CD, “The Beginning,” out Nov. 30.

Previous Billboard “Woman of the Year” honorees were Beyonce, Ciara (see-AHR’-uh) and Reba McEntire.

Rihanna opens up about her relationship with Brown

Rihanna has for the first time opened up regarding her fight with ex-partner Chris Brown that ended her relationship with him.

The 22-year-old singer was beaten black and blue by Brown after she allegedly questioned him about a text messages which he received from an ex-girlfriend, Contactmusic reported.

Though Rihanna has spoken little about the incident, Brown who is still serving community service for his gruesome actions was found guilty of assaulting his then-partner.

The `Umbrella` hitmaker stated that she felt like “an empty vessel” for days following the ugly break-up but insisted that the violent run-in with her ex has transformed her to better person.

“I couldn`t have been the woman I am, the friend, or the sister or the artist, or the role model I am today if I didn`t go through what I went through.”

“It`s scary; you just lose touch of everything that you love and everything that you would normally do; how you would dress or how you would say something. I needed that wake-up call in my life. That was the only way I would have gotten out of that relationship”, she said.

Kardashian, who was spotted flirting with John Mayer and Sean Parker, had come to Greenhouse at Via Dei Mille for a party.

According to the New York Post, the Giants were not allowed to enter Kardashian’s VIP area because they were not invited. However, they were later let in after pleading that they just wanted to meet her.

Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall has opened up about her sexual relationships and how she thought that sex would lead to love, but it never did. Cattrall, 54, revealed how she lost her virginity at 15 and was so disappointed by the experience that she did not expect it to be any better later.

Hiccup Girl Jennifer Mee faces murder charges

Jennifer Mee has been charged with first degree murder in Florida on Saturday. The 19-year-old became famous after appearing on the ‘Today´ show for her uncontrollable hiccups that lasted for five weeks in 2007. After her 2007 appearance Jennifer Mee, originally from Tampa Bay came to be known as the “Hiccup Girl.”

Now this girl is facing the biggest hiccup of her life as she and two other guys are facing charges of committing the heinous crime of murdering. The St. Petersburg Police Department’s Sgt. T.A. Skinner told that Mee and the other two guys killed a 22-year-old man named Shannon Griffin.


The incident happened when a robbery went wrong. Mee lured Griffin and then ambushed him when the two men held the victim at a gun point. When Griffin struggled, shots were fired and the man died.

Both the men and Mee accepted their involvement in the incident and till Monday Mee will be in the Pinellas County jail without a bond. It is not known whether she has an attorney for herself but no contacts could be made to her mother as the numbers listed were disconnected.

If she is proved guilty along with two of her partners in crime they might face death penalty. In 2007 she had 50 hiccups in a minute, now this hiccup is going to persist for how long no one knows.

Madonna Prepares to Launch Fitness Chain

Fitness fanatic Madonna is preparing to open the doors to her first gym in Mexico City next month (Nov10).

The pop superstar, famed for her toned physique, is making plans to open Hard Candy Fitness global gyms in major cities around the world and will fly to Mexico to officially launch her first centre in Bosques de las Lomas.

Her manager Guy Oseary says, "Madonna's world tours have taken us to many of our favourite cities around the world. We are looking forward to opening Hard Candy Fitness in many of these same places".

The gym will be equipped with dance, bike and yoga studios, saunas and steam rooms, as well as a juice bar.

Lily Allen wanted a fancy dress shop

Singer Lily Allen had plans to open a fancy dress shop before she settled for a vintage store.

The "Not Fair" singer, currently expecting her first child, recently opened a vintage clothing store with sister Sarah Owens, reports contactmusic.com.

"When I got pregnant, I decided to wind down a bit. So Sarah and I thought it would be a good moment to open the shop we'd been thinking of doing for years. Originally, it was going to be a fancy dress shop but because of our passion for vintage clothing, we thought this would work better," said Allen.

She says the decision to open a high-quality vintage store came after she saw many girls dressed like her.

"One of my 'light bulb' moments came when I went to a Christmas party and five people had the same high street dress on as I had. Plus the quality doesn't compare," she said

Audrina Patridge’s mum Lynn has apologised for her drunken rant about her daughter’s exit from Dancing with the Stars. Lynn was caught on camera this week having an angry outburst after her reality star daughter was eliminated from the show. Transformers star Rachael Taylor’s ex-boyfriend who is accused of beating her up just days after their engagement has been ordered not to contact her for two years or risk going to jail. Newton stood as the strict terms of the apprehended violence order were read out to him by magistrate Jane Culver in Sydney’s Downing Centre Local Court on October 25. As the sun set through the early evening, the guests arrived in cars with black out windows. British singer-songwriter Noel Gallagher was reported to be attending the ceremony, as well as Brand's close friend, television presenter Jonathan Ross. The maid of honor was not expectedly Rihanna but was a family friend.

Deepika raised the sexiness bar high for the aspiring models by herself appearing in two jaw dropping attires: a form hugging blush pink draped dress and an equally hot floor length strapless gown with high riding front slit.

Other judges on the panel included Deepika's beau Siddharth Mallya, actor/model Milind Soman and photographer Atul Kasbekar.

The panel will pick the twelve hottest models amidst the contestants for the Kingfisher annual swimsuit calendar.

Deepika, 24, posed on red carpet with Mallya who protectively looked out for her.

She revealed her strategy for selection.

"I am looking for someone who is, you know, not just good looking but also very, very intelligent," said Padukone.

The Kingfisher Calendar debuted in 2003 and Deepika featured on its 2006 edition.

Katrina Kaif as Radha

Katrina Kaif will play Lord Krishna's Radha in a cameo appearance in a 3-D animation-cum-live action film Main Krishna Hoon, to be directed by Rajiv S Ruia (My Friend Ganesha).

Kaif, who blends modernity with a girl-next-door image, will play the mythological Radha, symbolizing beauty and grace, in her hairstylist Promila Hunter's debut production based on the life of Lord Krishna.

In spite of having a packed schedule Katrina Kaif readily agreed to the role for which she has already started reading up on the life of Lord Krishna.

"I am doing this film on the life of Lord Krishna because my hairstylist Promila Hunter is producing the film. When she asked me if I would make an appearance I didn't even ask her what my role was. Only later did I get to know that it is a film on the life of Lord Krishna," Katrina confirmed.

Giving her company in the film is Hrithik Roshan who also plays a cameo in the film. He is supporting his spot boy Nandan Mahato, the co-producer of the film.

Nandan, who previously worked with Juhi Chawla has also roped her in for a cameo. She and Hrithik have already completed their part of the shooting.

Talking about Hrithik's role director Rula told HT, “All I can say is that his role is part of the climax. We shot with him in Hyderabad for almost 30 days and completed almost 60 per cent of the film. Beyond that I can’t disclose who Hrithik plays in the film.”

Playboy has reportedly offered Mel Gibson's former girlfriend and baby mama, Oksana Grigorieva, $75,000 to shed her clothes for a full nude cover shoot.

According to TMZ, there is no word on whether Oksana is even considering the offer.

Rihanna says she didn't' attend friend Katy Perry's wedding in North Rajasthan, India, because of poor cellular and internet connectivity in the area.

With her fifth studio album, Loud, scheduled to release on November 10, she had to stay connected.

"The album is coming out in two weeks, and I had to be available for a lot of approvals. We couldn't get any phone service or Internet service out there," said Rihanna [via People].

Rihanna says that luckily for her Katy understood.

"I was crushed," Rihanna says. "I was really looking forward to it – but she understood, thank god."

Anna Nicole Smith Partner Howard K Stern Found Guilty

Anna Nicole Smith's partner, Howard K Stern, was found guilty of two counts of conspiracy for procuring prescription medications for Anna Nicole Smith using his own name.

A jury appointed by Los Angeles Superior Court comprising six men and six women on Thursday, October 28, convicted Stern for conspiring to prescribe prescription drugs using fraudulent means and conspiring to furnish prescription drugs to an addict.

The jury dismissed seven other charges against Stern.

Besides Stern, two doctors - Khristine Eroshevich, 62, a psychiatrist and Sandeep Kapoor, 42, who specializes in internal and geriatric medicine - were also charged with multiple felonies for allegedly conspiring to furnish prescription drugs to an addict.

The jury convicted Eroshevich of four charges, but cleared Sandeep Kapoor of all counts.

Following the verdict, Stern, 41, said in a statement:

"Everything related to the appropriateness of the medication, I was acquitted of."

Kapoor termed his acquittal on all six charges against him, "a victory for patients everywhere who suffer with chronic pain."

Stern and Eroshevich will be sentenced on January 6. They face three or more years of imprisonment.

Anna Nicole Smith died from a fatal drug overdose on February 8, 2007, aged 39.

Taylor Swift Plugs Speak Now on Today Show

Taylor Swift performed on the Today Show on Tuesday, October 26, to promote her third studio album Speak Now that dropped in stores on Monday, October 25.

Taylor Swift kicked off her performance looking cute in a beanie and plaid shirt. She had her hair swept away under the beanie.

Later in the performance, she wowed wearing a super shimmery mini shift dress with spaghetti straps. Her signature curls cascaded down her shoulders.

The 20-year-old songstress paired both her looks with black knee high riding boots.

Studded bracelets and her high wattage glittering guitar added to the dramatic concert look.

She performed Love Story single from her Fearless album and "Mine" and "Speak Now" singles from Speak Now.

Swift fans were ecstatic when she walked into the crowds after the show for a meet and greet session. She signed CDs and autographs and posed with a few lucky fans.

Later in the day, Taylor visited Sullivan Theater to appear on the David Letterman show.

The previous afternoon, on Monday October 25, she gave a mini concert at NYC's Central Park, which was recorded by her team for a music video.

Billy Ray Cyrus, Wife Tish File for Divorce

Miley Cyrus' parents - Billy Ray and Tish - filed for divorce in Tennessee on Wednesday citing irreconcilable difference.

The couple has been married for 17 years and has five children including Miley.

In a statement to People magazine the couple said:

"As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family. We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers."

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Billy Ray filed for divorce. He is seeking shared custody of the couple's three minor children together, a court approved parenting plan, and "equitable distribution of the marital estate."

Black Swan: Audience won't see special effects, but they'll feel them, Says Darren Aronofsky

Darren Aronofsky yesterday says that subtle special effects in his new movie 'Black Swan' will disorient the audience without them spotting the manipulation.

Speaking in a press conference at the London Film Festival on October 22 the director told press, "We started to really play with things once we got into post-production.

"Because I shot in widescreen, I started to think about where the audience's eyes might be so that we could actually manipulate the other side of the screen in very gentle ways and actually add to the tension and paranoia of the movie.

"So there are very slight manipulations of lots of different things throughout the film. They're very gentle things and probably most people won't notice them, but they may sort of feel them."

Kim Kardashian Sizzles at Her Perfume Launch
