Hardly had Miley Cyrus released her latest sexually laden music video when she felt it backfiring on her. She didn’t have to wait long to have the Parents Television Council on her back out for her blood.
With a fairly good reason, too. Cyrus’ video clip for the song Who Owns My Heart? shows the singer (who is yet to turn 18 in November) tossing about a bed scantily dressed and blindfolded – from whence she proceeds to be engaged in other sexual misadventures.
Tim Winter, President of the PTC, voiced parents’ strong concern over the “unfortunate” video to TMZ – or rather, gave outlet to his wrath, reminding the singer that she “built her fame and fortune entirely on the backs of young girls” and now seems too intent to turn her back on her fan base with messages like that which can destroy her previous image and her fan integrity irretrievably.
